Job summary

Yext seeks a Commercial Counsel to partner with Enterprise, Mid-Market and Partner sales teams and negotiate customer deals. The role can be based in New York or Washington DC with a flexible hybrid work arrangement.

You will draft, review and negotiate SaaS subscription agreements and vendor/procurement transactions while helping scale our global contract processes and playbooks. A law degree and US license are required.

Qualifications

• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Experience negotiating SaaS/commercial agreements
• Experience with data privacy (GDPR, CCPA, CPRA) in SaaS
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Highly organized, process-driven and client-focused
• Juris Doctor from a US law school and bar license
• Foreign language skills (French, German, Italian, Spanish) a plus

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating SaaS subscription and other commercial agreements for Enterprise, Mid-Market and Partner segments
• Improve and maintain standard commercial agreements, negotiation playbooks and processes
• Collaborate with internal clients to scale sales contract negotiation
• Conduct periodic trainings on contract negotiation processes
