Job summary

Fortinet is seeking an experienced Cloud Security Developer to join the FortiCASB team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing our SaaS‑based security platform, ensuring secure and scalable cloud access security solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, software engineering, or equivalent.
• Three or more years of experience in cloud security or SaaS development.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Kinesis, IAM, VPC).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices.
• Familiarity with OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, and Zero Trust.
• Understanding of GDPR, SOC2, NIST.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch.
• Strong analytical skills and distributed teams.
• Experience in data mining, anomaly detection, predictive analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance cloud security capabilities for CASB product.
• Implement CASB features for data protection, compliance, threat detection.
• Optimize SaaS platform architecture for security and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with DLP and DSPM teams to integrate security solutions.
• Design and develop APIs and microservices for automation and integrations.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance, processing, and security enforcement.
