Job summary

Career Team is seeking a Business Analyst to own discovery and requirements for a workforce development SaaS platform (WIOA case management, labor exchange, services, outcomes, reporting). Translate program needs into build-ready user stories and support UAT and go-live.

The role focuses on documenting workflows, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborating with Product, Engineering, QA to design solutions and manage changes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in workforce development with program domain knowledge (WIOA, labor exchange, eligibility, intake, reporting).
• Strong facilitation and documentation skills; can turn complex processes into testable requirements.
• Project and grant performance: build a repeatable financial operating model with budgets, burn rates, cost allocation, and metrics.
• Client-facing deliverables: partner with QA to deliver audit-ready financials that we’re proud to put our name on.
• Finance cadence: lead monthly close and quarterly reporting with a clear narrative.
• Cross-functional problem-solving with operations and client-facing teams.

Responsibilities

• Attend client workshops to document workflows (intake/eligibility, enrollment, services, case notes, exits/follow-up).
• Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and configuration/business rules.
• Partner with Product/Engineering/QA to design solutions, clarify scope, and manage requirements changes.
• Support integrations and data mapping (imports/exports, APIs) and reporting requirements.
• Plan and execute UAT with customers; triage defects and validate fixes.
