Job summary

Ameriflight is seeking Saab 340 maintenance professionals to support the ESCS Charter division. The team operates four Saab 340 aircraft based in DFW and plans growth; prior Saab 340 hands-on experience is required.

Candidates with Saab 340 experience only need apply; other maintenance roles are available for those without Saab 340 exposure. Excellent benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid FAA Aircraft Mechanic certificate with Airframe & Powerplant ratings.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to interpret documents such as policy, repair and safety manuals.
• Must meet airport badging requirements, including a TSA Security background check.
• Successful completion of pre-employment required DOT drug screening and other required background checks.
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License and meet all company insurance criteria.
• Must be able to work various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility is supporting the Saab 340 fleet; may provide maintenance support for other fleet types as operational needs require.
• Perform all manner of maintenance on company aircraft in accordance with company policy, manufacturer's recommendations and Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair airframe and powerplant components and systems.
• Document work completed per company procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• May travel for training, to repair aircraft in the field, and to provide temporary support for other bases.
• Other duties as assigned.
