Description

The Ramp Agents handle the loading and offloading of aircraft. Responsible for maintaining the safety and security of personnel and equipment on the ramp at all times. Transfer cargo to other gates and other airlines. Removal of F.O.D. Perform equipment checks prior to and after use. Must be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft. Must be able to communicate information and instructions verbally.

Job Requirements
  • Ability to follow directions & a strong willingness to learn.
  • Availability for all shifts: Monday through Sunday.
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings and a drug test.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Bilingual skills preferred.
  • Lifting/carrying up to 70 pounds occasionally.
  • Push and pull pallets; lifting products approximately 55% of the shift.
  • Repetitive bending/twisting, occasional to moderate.
  • Ability to work in cramped or high places.
  • Good vision and hearing are required for safety and effectiveness.
  • This is mostly an outdoor job with exposure to hazardous materials.
