Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a Logistics Engineering Specialist in Tampa, FL to optimize material flow and support BVT2.0/3.0 production lines amid S4/HANA transitions. You will lead logistics workstreams, map SOPs, and coordinate with manufacturing, QA, and vendors to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires ERP migration experience, SAP S4/HANA expertise, and strong project management, change management, and analytics skills to improve cycle times and reduce waste.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in logistics engineering, supply chain operations, or material flow optimization within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP migrations, specifically SAP S4/HANA implementations.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification; Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• Strong skills in logistics and supply chain engineering, material flow optimization, warehouse layout design, lean logistics, and analytics.
• Proficiency with SAP S4/HANA (MM/WM/PP), ERP data migration, process mapping, and SOPs.
• Experience in project management, continuous improvement, change management, root cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Export license requirement and US employment eligibility noted.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize logistics workflows and material flow layouts for BVT2.0 and BVT3.0 production lines.
• Analyze supply chain bottlenecks and apply lean logistics methodologies to enhance cycle times and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to align logistics capacity with production schedules.
• Lead the logistics and material management workstream for the S4/HANA ERP migration, ensuring master data accuracy and system readiness.
• Define, map, and test SOPs within S4/HANA for warehousing, shipping, and receiving processes.
• Manage cross-functional logistics projects, track KPIs, and coordinate with vendors and stakeholders for timely delivery.
