Job summary

American Technology Solutions International Corp. (ATSI) is seeking a S&T Program Management Specialist to support the Office of Naval Research (ONR).

The role focuses on planning, executing, overseeing, and transitioning research and development programs in line with DoD and Navy priorities. Ideal candidates will have extensive S&T/DoD program management experience, ability to navigate RDT&E funding policies, and a track record of transitioning technologies from S&T into acquisition programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD clearance.
• At least fifteen (15) years of Science and Technology (S&T) or related DoD program management experience.
• Experience with DoD RDT&E funding policies and program management practices for technology transition from S&T into acquisition.
• At least ten (10) years of management oversight experience supporting DoD S&T project planning, execution, and transition activities.
• Demonstrated experience generating new concepts to plan, evaluate, and manage S&T programs.

ATSI support services are growing. We are currently seeking dedicated professionals with a proven track record of success to join our team. This full-time position supports the Office of Naval Research (ONR). The S&T Program Management Specialist will provide program management support for Science and Technology (S&T) initiatives within the Naval Research Enterprise. The selected candidate will support the planning, execution, oversight, and transition of research and development programs while ensuring alignment with Department of Defense and Department of the Navy priorities. The S&T Program Management Specialist will work closely with ONR leadership, Program Officers, researchers, and stakeholders to support technology development and transition efforts from Science and Technology programs into acquisition programs. The role requires a strong understanding of DoD Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) funding policies, program management practices, and technology transition processes. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while supporting complex research and development programs in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD clearance
• At least fifteen (15) years of Science and Technology (S&T) or related Department of Defense program management experience
• Experience with DoD Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) funding policies and program management practices applicable to technology transition from S&T into acquisition programs
• At least ten (10) years of management oversight experience supporting Department of Defense, preferably Department of the Navy, Science and Technology project planning, execution, and transition activities
• Demonstrated experience generating new concepts and approaches to plan, evaluate, and manage Science and Technology programs

Desired Experience

• Knowledge of and experience supporting the ONR Science and Technology portfolio

Position Location

Government office located in Arlington, VA. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, On Site.

Compensation

$115,000 - $140,000 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of ATSI's total compensation package. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience.
