Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle is seeking an S&OP Manager in Erlanger, KY to lead monthly integrated business planning cycles with demand and supply reviews and executive alignment. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure a unified forecast and execution plan.

The role requires 3–5 years in S&OP/IBP, strong facilitation, and experience using SAP IBP, o9, Kinaxis, or Anaplan, plus advanced Excel. MBA and IBP certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or related field.
• MBA is a plus but not required.
• 3–5 years of S&OP/IBP, demand planning or supply planning experience in CPG or related industry.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional planning cycles without direct authority.
• Experience working with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain stakeholders.
• Proficiency with planning systems (SAP IBP, o9, Kinaxis, Anaplan) and advanced Excel.
• Strong facilitation and executive deck/preamble preparation skills.
• Certification in Standard IBP (Oliver Wight) and APICS CPIM/CSCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead S&OP cycles including demand and supply reviews, reconciliation, and executive alignment meetings.
• Lead S&OE process execution, including demand control and supply execution.
• Ensure timely pre-reads, data accuracy, and regional/global decks/reporting; drive continuous improvement.
• Drive the one-number forecasting principle aligning commercial sales with production and distribution.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations on NPDs, promotions, and rolling forecasts.
• Create monthly constrained forecasts with consensus across all areas.
• Lead change management and implement sustainable process improvements with cross-functional teams.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead S&OP Cycles: Manage monthly integrated business planning cycles, including demand review, supply review, integrated reconciliation and executive S&OP alignment meetings.
• Lead S&OE Process: Collaborate cross‑functional to execute the S&OE process, including demand control, supply execution and S&OE meetings.
• S&OP/S&OE Excellence: Ensure timely pre‑reads, accuracy in data, and global/regional decks and reporting; drive continuous improvement and influence outcomes across both S&OP and S&OE.
• Demand & Supply Alignment: Drive the "one-number" forecasting principle, matching commercial sales plans with production and distribution capabilities.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to evaluate new product developments (NPDs), promotions, and consensus rolling forecasts.
• Constrained Forecast: Partner with demand and supply planning to generate the monthly constrained forecast, ensuring consensus forecast alignment across all areas.
• Change Management: Drive organizational change management and continuous improvement initiatives, partnering with cross‑functional teams to identify process gaps and implement sustainable solutions

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field
• MBA a plus, not required
• 3–5 years of experience in standard S&OP/IBP process (Oliver Wight), demand planning, or supply planning within CPG or a related industry
• Demonstrated experience facilitating cross‑functional planning cycles (S&OP/S&OE) without direct authority over participants
• Experience working with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain/Operations stakeholders in a matrixed environment
• Proficiency with planning systems common in CPG (e.g., SAP IBP, o9, Kinaxis, Anaplan, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas); PowerBI or Tableau experience a plus
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred, given CPG prevalence)
• Strong facilitation skills — able to run structured meetings, drive decisions, and keep executives on track
• Collaboration & Influence skills to Build strong cross‑functional partnerships and effectively influences stakeholders without direct authority to drive shared outcomes
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience preparing executive‑level decks and pre‑reads
• High attention to detail and data accuracy, especially under monthly cycle deadlines
• Comfortable managing ambiguity and competing priorities across multiple product categories/regions
• Certification in Standard IBP process (Preferably Oliver Wight).
• APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP) strongly preferred in CPG S&OP roles
