Job summary

Target is seeking a Senior S&OP Analyst to own forecasts driving labor and equipment planning across the digital fulfillment network. You will partner across S&OP, network management, last mile, and operations intelligence to deliver weekly forecasts and quarterly plans, translating complex data into actionable insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in an analytical or technical field (e.g., Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Engineering) or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, supply chain analytics, operations analytics or a related field
• Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries, joins, and aggregations while ensuring data accuracy and quality
• Proficiency in R or Python coding, including data manipulation, analysis, automation, and contribution to shared analytical codebases
• Proven experience partnering with HQ and field operations teams to influence outcomes and maintain resilience through shifting business cycles
• Proficiency in data orchestration tools or APIs used to integrate multiple systems
• Strong analytical problem-solver, able to navigate ambiguity, apply statistical thinking, and uncover actionable insights from large, complex datasets.
• Effective cross-functional communicator and influencer, translating complex analysis into clear recommendations and partnering across operators, engineers, and leaders to drive network visibility and performance.
• Operationally grounded and adaptable, with supply chain knowledge, experience supporting orchestration solutions, and the ability to balance planned and rapid-response priorities while mentoring others.
