Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Planning Analyst to accelerate the integration of advanced analytics into inventory planning, turning complex data into actionable forecasting and optimization models to improve supply chain predictability.

You will work with Inventory Planners, build automated dashboards, run simulations for S&OP, and help optimize planning software while ensuring data integrity across reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a highly quantitative field required; master’s or certs are a strong plus.
• Proven SQL/Python/R experience for modeling, automation, and data pipelines.
• Experience with Tableau/Power BI for dashboards; familiarity with ERP/WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• 30% Advanced modeling: build/validate statistical models and ML to improve forecast accuracy and safety stock.
• 25% Automate planning workflows and integrate analytics into standard processes with dashboards.
• 20% S&OP simulations: run scenario analyses and present actionable insights to planners.
• 15% Systems optimization: tune planning software and align data pipelines with models.
• 10% External data: integrate supplier/public data (e.g., NOAA) into planning frameworks.
