Position: Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor evaluates work processes to enhance productivity and efficiency across company functions.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Evaluate current work processes to determine flow, time requirements, costs, and duration.
2. Develop strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
3. Apply industrial engineering techniques to evaluate and improve strategies.
4. Support qualification and validation of new products, equipment, and processes.
5. Implement new technologies for process improvement.
6. Lead continuous process improvement initiatives using problem-solving techniques.
7. Develop programs to recognize team contributions.
8. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
9. Build cohesive employee teams to improve results.
10. Manage supervisory responsibilities including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and discipline.
11. Investigate new manufacturing methods, materials, and applications.

Basic Qualifications

• BSc in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing process improvement experience.
• Experience with equipment, product, and process development.
• Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and statistical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Minitab, and Lean principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency and adaptability.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and rotate between sitting and standing.
