Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or accounting required.
• Minimum of 5 years underwriting experience.
• Advanced knowledge of mathematical applications in underwriting (discounts, proportions, percentages).
• Knowledge of state and federal legislation related to group health underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Achieve profit, growth, service and expense objectives through financial analysis and pricing of RX business.
• Quote and rate proposals, project renewal and prepare annual settlements and experience reporting.
• Provide underwriting services to determine pricing and monitor accounts for profitability.
