RVT Sonographer - Vascular & Interventional Experts

Role Overview

The RVT Sonographer performs ultrasounds and assists with procedures in a collaborative medical environment. This position is responsible for maintaining equipment certification. It is a part-time (0.8) role working weekdays between 7:15 am and 3:45 pm at our Woodbury clinic.

Essential Functions
  1. Perform accurate tracing to recognize serious problems and interpret results.
  2. Complete sterile setup and assist with Endovenous RFA procedures.
  3. Prepare rooms and patients for procedures.
  4. Operate treadmill for diagnosis or functional assessment of cardiac patients.
  5. Measure blood pressures before, during, and after exercise, record heart rates, and calculate related metrics.
  6. Explain procedures to patients and obtain informed consent.
  7. Maintain ultrasound equipment and certification.
  8. Be available for on-call hours.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Vascular Technology from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience.
  • RVT Board Certification.
  • Ability to travel to multiple clinic locations up to 50%.
  • Current CPR & BLS Certification.
