Animal Dental Clinic (ADC) is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) with a dentistry focus. The role supports high-quality dental and surgical care, continuing education, and a collaborative, low-stress environment.

The team encourages growth for RVTs or VTS in Dentistry and values compassionate patient care, client education, and teamwork. Schedule involves 8–10 hour shifts with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active RVT license in California or eligible for transfer.
• Experience in anesthesia monitoring, dental radiographs, and dental cleanings.
• Passion for patient care and client service.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist with comprehensive dental procedures including cleanings, radiography, and surgical support.
• Monitor anesthesia during dental surgeries for patient safety.
• Provide surgical prep and recovery care for dental patients.
• Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and lab diagnostics as needed.
• Calculate and administer medications and fluids under DVM direction.
• Maintain and sterilize dental and surgical instruments.
• Educate pet parents on post-procedure care and dental health.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver outstanding care.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with comprehensive dental procedures , including dental cleanings, dental radiography, and advanced dental surgical assistance.
• Monitor anesthesia during dental surgeries, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

• Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver outstanding patient care and create a positive, low-stress experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in California or eligible for transfer.
• Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) certification in Dentistry is highly preferred but not required.
• Experience in anesthesia monitoring, dental radiographs, and dental cleanings.
• Passion for patient care and providing exceptional client service.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Schedule:

• 8 to 10-hour shifts depending on caseload.
