VCA Great Lakes Veterinary Specialists is seeking a talented, experienced General Practice Registered Veterinary Technician, RVT to join our growing hybrid hospital team full time. We are a hybrid general practice, a 24/7 Specialty and Emergency hospital staffed with an amazing team of compassionate and experienced veterinarians, highly skilled RVTs and a well-trained support staff.

New team members are trained through a mentorship program before working independently.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) or technician in training.
• 3–4 years emergency experience preferred.
• Must be self-motivated and able to think on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Physical examinations, patient assessment
• Procedural anesthesia monitoring and recovery
• IV fluid administration and CRI calculations
• Hands Free Radiology and diagnostic imaging
• Client communications and discharge
