Job Description

The ideal candidate for the Sales Leader, NACI Data Platform role will have a strong background in industry sector(s) and cloud data platform solutions, with a passion for helping customers transition to the Cloud. This leadership role involves managing a team of Data Platform sellers, promoting Oracle Cloud solutions, and driving customer acquisition and cloud services growth. Responsibilities include developing strategic plans, managing sales teams, and building relationships with clients and partners.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee regional sales, alliances, and customer satisfaction for Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Services.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to enhance Oracle's market opportunities.
  • Manage and develop sales teams, including recruiting and training.
  • Negotiate sales terms and promote Oracle products to clients.
  • Participate in strategic planning and build joint account plans with field managers.
  • Create territory plans and forecasts to maximize revenue.
Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years in Technology/Cloud Sales Management.
  • Experience hiring and training sales teams.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven negotiation skills and ability to resolve customer issues.
  • Experience selling Data Solutions and Public Cloud Infrastructure.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years of enterprise sales with large quotas.
  • 5+ years managing sales teams and supporting functions.
  • Experience in complex sales cycles and vertical industries.
  • Knowledge of cloud adoption patterns and organizational change concepts.
  • Educational background in engineering or computer science preferred.
