Job summary

Durham Vets for Pets seeks an experienced RVN to join our friendly practice in Durham. You’ll be supported to develop nursing skills and work with a highly experienced team, including nurses with certificates in anaesthesia, exotics, feline-friendly nursing, ECC and nutrition.

The role is available full time or part time. Competitive salary from £29,000 to £35,000 FTE depending on experience, with generous CPD, pension, and staff discounts. No OOH or Sundays.

Qualifications

• Qualified RVN with current registration.
• Excellent communication and customer care skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a busy practice.

Responsibilities

• Bring fresh ideas to the practice and support the nursing team.
• Help oversee theatre organisation and workflow.
• Contribute to clinical standards and deliver outstanding patient care.
• Support and mentor junior staff when required.
