Job summary
roadsurfer is hiring a hands-on RV Technician to diagnose and repair mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance issues on our campervans. You will keep vehicles roadworthy, ensure safety and customer satisfaction, and sometimes train station staff to perform basic repairs.
You should have automotive training, brand knowledge, and the flexibility to travel to North American locations. The role involves outdoor work, lifting up to 45 pounds, and working weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Completed training as automotive mechanic or automotive mechatronics technician or similar program.
- Knowledge of various brands and vehicles, familiar with common models.
- Flexibility to travel, strong communication in English, and readiness for outdoor work.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and fix maintenance issues on RVs and campervans.
- Keep vehicles on the road with focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
- Share knowledge with station staff to enable self-repairs when possible.
- Track parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
- Contribute ideas to improve work processes and environment.
