Job summary

Fun Town RV, based in Texas, seeks an experienced RV Technician to diagnose, inspect, repair, and overhaul recreational vehicles—from travel trailers to motorized units. You’ll work on gas, electrical, plumbing, chassis systems and may specialize in generators or appliances, ensuring safety and quality in every job.

Responsibilities include diagnosing RV systems, repairing components, completing pre-delivery inspections, maintaining electrical/plumbing work, and documenting actions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years hands-on experience in RV, automotive, or related trades.
• Familiarity with hitch installation and brake controller setup.
• Basic electrical knowledge of 12V and 110V systems.
• RVIA/RVIT certification (or equivalent RV maintenance experience).
• Strong hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
• Proficient in reading tape measures and using hand/power tools.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work weekends and in un-climate-controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics & Repair: diagnose and troubleshoot RV systems and components; perform functional repairs and install replacement parts; conduct pre-delivery inspections.
• Systems & Structural Work: repair and maintain propane gas/electric appliances; handle fiberglass, body, and structural repairs; install roofs, siding, windows, doors, and flooring.
• Electrical & Plumbing: service 12V/110V electrical systems; maintain RV plumbing and water systems.
• Documentation & Communication: read and write repair orders; communicate with Service Advisors and Parts team to ensure workflow.
• General Support: use manuals and catalogs to research issues; assist with clean-up and tool maintenance; perform other duties to support customers.
