Job summary

Alpin Haus is seeking an RV Service Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on company and customer vehicles with a focus on quality, efficiency, safety, and cleanliness.

The RV Service Technician will receive 100% company-paid training through our Service Technician University and RVTI certifications, with earning potential growing toward up to $40/hour plus overtime and bonuses as skills and certifications advance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Experience using basic hand and power tools
• HVAC, building trades, automotive or mechanical experience
• Possesses, or able to procure, RV1 certification within first year of employment

Responsibilities

• The RV Service Technician performs maintenance, repairs, and installations on company and customer vehicles with a focus on quality, efficiency, safety, and cleanliness
• Test, diagnose, and make repairs to RVs using diagnostic tools, and according to manufacturer's instructions and mechanical knowledge and skills
• Install equipment and accessories onto RVs and test for proper function; provide instructions to the customer on proper use and care
• Review and update work orders using the computer system to document cause and correction, and diagnosis/repair action steps performed
• Safely transport vehicles to and from repair areas
• Assist the parts and warranty teams by expeditiously providing required information to quote/source parts and submit warranty claims
• Perform live demonstration of RV system functionality for new/used RVs sold
• Perform housekeeping in the service shop, such as sweeping and general cleaning, throughout the workday
• Record and report description of any external damage discovered to vehicles
