We have multiple openings for the first shift schedule, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM.
Experience in laying tile in a high-quality RV or residential environment is preferred.
Purpose:
This position exists to diagnose, inspect, adjust, and perform repairs and parts/component replacements on units in a timely manner within estimated hours, while meeting quality standards and working towards RVIA/RVDA technician certification.
Essential Functions:
- Inspect, assess, and diagnose required repairs; provide an accurate list of all replacement parts.
- Perform exterior repairs (metal, walls, fiberglass, roofs, decals, etc.), grease and pack bearings, adjust brakes, repair & adjust axles, and work on RV frames.
- Perform interior repairs (cabinetry, sidewalls, ceiling panels, lights, plumbing, flooring, trim, etc.) and rebuilds, including slideout adjustments.
- Replace or repair vendor-produced appliances and systems.
- Work on electrical (12V and 110V), plumbing, LP components, and systems.
- Conduct safety inspections of all components & systems.
- Add comments or additional repairs to work orders with accurate times and materials used.
- Provide training to apprentices or less skilled technicians if needed.
- Attend rallies, service seminars, field visits; provide training to dealer personnel/retail customers; perform inspections as assigned.
Experience/Knowledge:
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years of applied trades training.
- 5-7 years related experience.
- Knowledge of repairs on all RV types, including electronic control systems.
- Ability to read engineering prints and drawings.
- Forklift experience is desirable; Jayco training required for forklift operation.

Work Requirements:
- Work in extreme temperatures and environments; perform physical activities.
- Occasional travel between locations.
- Stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; handle objects and tools; lift up to 50 pounds.
- Full-time position with flexible hours, including some Saturdays.
- Regular attendance required.
- Duties may be reassigned as needed.
