Job Description

As an RV Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and inspecting RV units to ensure proper functionality for customers. The ideal candidate is confident working with their hands, has a background in car maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, or general contracting, and has experience in repair diagnostics and/or 2+ years in a technical field or the RV industry. Bish’s RV offers on-the-job training and certifications if the candidate has less than one year of experience.

What you'll do:

1. Inspect units for customer sale
2. Learn and execute a Get Ready and customer service processes
3. Perform unsupervised diagnostics with quality assurance
4. Learn and perform installation of 5th wheel hitches and full wire brake controls
5. Handle the customer pay side of service work
6. Work on any RV unit in the service department
7. Complete specialty certifications and pursue continuing education
8. Produce consistent repairs and maintain customer satisfaction scores
9. Share knowledge and best practices with team members

What we're looking for:

• Experience in the RV industry and/or mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or maintenance work
• 2+ years of experience in a technical field is a plus
• Personal set of tools
• Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for extended periods
• Ability to lift 25 to 50 lbs with assistance
• Ability to work in environments with heat, cold, dust, and loud noises
• Flexible work schedule, including Saturdays (closed on Sundays)
• Neat, professional appearance
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass background check and drug test
