Description

As an RV Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and inspecting RV units for proper functionality for a customer. The ideal candidate has a background in car maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, or general contracting, and experience in repair diagnostics, with 2+ years in a technical field or the RV industry. Bish’s RV offers on-the-job training and certifications for those with less than one year of experience.

Responsibilities include:

1. Learning and executing customer orientation and Get Ready procedures.
2. Performing diagnostics independently, ensuring high quality repairs without supervision.
3. Installing 5th wheel hitches and full wire brake controls.
4. Handling customer pay side of service work.
5. Working on any RV unit in the service department.
6. Progressing through specialty certifications and continuing education.
7. Providing consistent repairs and maintaining customer satisfaction.
8. Sharing knowledge and best practices with team members.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in RV industry or related mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or maintenance work.
2. At least 2 years of experience in a technical field preferred.
3. Personal tools set.
4. Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and lift 25-50 lbs.
5. Ability to work in various environments including heat, cold, dust, and noise.
6. Flexible schedule, including Saturdays.
7. High school diploma or GED.
8. Ability to pass background check and drug test.
9. Positive attitude, neat appearance, and enthusiasm for learning.
