Job summary

Optimum RV LLC is seeking an skilled RV Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of recreational vehicles, ensuring high quality and safety standards.

You will perform inspections, use diagnostic tools, document labor and parts, and communicate clearly with customers and service advisors. A high school diploma is required, with RV experience and RVIA/RVDA certification preferred. Opportunities to learn all repair areas, including house repairs, are available.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of RV systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical information to customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; RV experience preferred.
• RVIA/RVDA certification or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Experience with computerized diagnostic tools and software preferred.
• Familiarity with warranty repair processes and documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on RV systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanics.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in a timely, efficient manner.
• Document work performed, parts used, and labor time.
• Communicate with service advisors and customers about repairs and maintenance.
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
• Learn all aspects of RV repair, including house repairs.
