Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician to join our growing team in Garner, NC. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic testing and repairs on RV coach systems, generators, and coach bodies, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance maintenance.

We welcome applicants with hands-on repair experience; RVIA certification is a plus but not required. The role requires lifting up to 25 lbs and could involve heights and welding-related hazards.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in trade field is helpful but work experience is also considered.
• Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred.
• RVIA certification helpful but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress.
• Ensure final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
