Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) to diagnose and repair RV coach systems, generators, and coach components. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance maintenance, documenting test results and parts usage.

We offer opportunities to obtain RVIA certification and require you to furnish your own hand tools; lifting up to 50 lbs is required. This on-site role provides benefits and growth within a nationwide RV service network.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is helpful but work experience also considered
• Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred
• RVIA certification helpful but not required
• Possible exposure to heights and hazards with electrical and welding equipment
• Prolonged standing, stooping, crawling and bending
• Must furnish own hand/shop tools
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
• Valid driver's license preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress
• Ensure final work product meets quality standards and is inspected
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers
