Job summary

General RV Center in Michigan is seeking an RV Technician to service interior, exterior, electrical, and plumbing on new and used RVs. You will work at a state-of-the-art facility with paid training and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities include inspecting RVs, clearly explaining issues to customers, and meeting the company quality standard. Candates should bring reliable work ethic and be able to multitask; RV-specific certifications will be provided.

Qualifications

• Inspect RVs thoroughly and identify interior, exterior, electrical and plumbing issues.
• Ability to clearly explain technical issues to customers and how they can be repaired.
• Must provide own tools for daily work.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Service new and used RVs, focusing on interior, exterior, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Meet the company standard of quality in all work performed.
• Ensure thorough inspections of RVs and document findings.
• Provide clear communication to customers about repairs and timelines.

• Responsible for servicing new and used RV’s. General RV Technicians do not service the chassis or engines, only interior, exterior, electrical, and plumbing.
• RV specific certifications will be provided by General RV, do NOT need to be ASE certified.
• Ability to clearly explain technical issues to customers and how the issue can be repaired.
• Responsible for meeting the company standard of quality.
• Inspect RV’s thoroughly.
• Prior technical experience in electrical, plumbing, or carpentry is highly desired.
• Must provide own tools.
• Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Reliable and strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license.
