RV Life Is Good is seeking a highly skilled Experienced RV Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of RV systems, ensuring customers have smooth, worry-free adventures. You will work with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and automotive knowledge on state-of-the-art equipment in a fast-paced service department.

You may have opportunities to lead the shop and earn raises based on performance.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of RV service experience or comparable mechanical experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of 12V electrical systems, 120V AC systems, plumbing, propane, HVAC, appliances, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on motorhomes and towable RVs.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting using wiring diagrams, service manuals, and diagnostic equipment.
• Complete roof repairs, slide-out adjustments, appliance repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Document repairs, parts used, and labor performed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with the service advisors and parts department to complete repairs efficiently.
• Assist with training and mentoring less experienced technicians when needed.
• Stay current with manufacturer training, certifications, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who have:

• Three or more years of RV service experience or comparable mechanical experience.


• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.


• Knowledge of 12V electrical systems, 120V AC systems, plumbing, propane, HVAC, appliances, and hydraulic systems.


• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


• A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.


• RVTI, RVIA, RVDA, ASE, or manufacturer certifications are but not required.
