Job summary

Bish’s RV is seeking a skilled RV Technician to diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of RV systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and chassis components. The role emphasizes independent work with opportunities to mentor junior technicians and contribute to a collaborative shop culture.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years of hands-on RV repair experience, RVTI certification, and a personal toolset.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on RV repair or related mechanical/electrical experience.
• Strong working knowledge of RV systems, components, and repair procedures.
• RVTI certification required.
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader.
• Must have a set of personal tools and the ability to lift 25–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair RV systems including electrical, plumbing, propane, appliances, HVAC, chassis and structural components.
• Install aftermarket accessories such as solar panels, satellite systems, leveling jacks, hitches, and awnings.
• Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and prepare units for customer delivery.
• Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and time tracking.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to entry-level and mid-level technicians.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and dealership standards.

Key Objectives

• Diagnose and repair RV systems includingbut not limitedto:electric (AC/DC), plumbing, propane, appliances, HVAC, chassis, and structural components
• Install aftermarket accessories such as solar panels, satellite systems, leveling jacks, hitches, and awnings
• Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and prepare units for customer delivery
• Maintainaccurateservice records, parts usage, and time tracking

• Keep workspace organized, clean, and stocked with essential tools and materials

Whatyou’llbring

• The ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods of time

• Flexibility with work schedules; including Saturdays (we are always closed on Sundays)
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance
• Ability to pass a background and drug test
