Job summary

Camping World seeks a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) to diagnose and repair RV systems, generators and coach bodies. The role emphasizes meticulous workmanship and self-motivation across mechanical, plumbing, HVAC and electrical tasks.

Certification support is offered for non-certified candidates. Ideal applicants have at least 1 year of service tech experience with tools in hand, a valid license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in trade field is helpful; RVIA certification is helpful but not required.
• Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred.
• Must furnish own hand/shop tools.
• Prolonged standing, lifting up to 25 lbs and sometimes up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress.
• Ensure final work product meets quality standards and is inspected.
