Parts Counterperson – RV Dealership

All you need is one year of experience in an RV dealership warehouse to change your career path for the better. We need a reliable, professional parts counterperson to purchase, sell, store, and issue parts within our busy dealership. You’ll need to be good at ordering parts and maintaining inventory, but also possess excellent people skills when dealing with customers and internal staff. The right person can expect great pay, benefits, and a supportive dealership environment.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Determine needs and accurately specify parts accordingly
  2. Create and modify purchase orders
  3. Issue purchase orders to vendors to order parts
  4. Record warranty parts returned
  5. Create special ordered parts on the dealership computer system and notify ASM, technician, or client upon receipt
  6. Review special order parts tracking
  7. Process and close open invoices
  8. Compare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of received merchandise
  9. Keep records of outside purchases and parts received and issued
  10. Perform ongoing warehouse parts inventory
  11. Attend weekly department meetings
Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED; one year of dealership warehouse experience and/or training. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

Compensation

$17-$21+ per hour DOE
