Here at Ketelsen RV, we are expanding our team. This position is for an RV Service Writer/Advisor Professional. Your role is to coordinate work repair orders between our customers, staff, and manufacturers. You will serve as the liaison between our customers and technicians, overseeing the repair order from start to finish.

Requirements of the Service Writer/Advisor:

• 2 years of customer service or professional sales experience
• Experience in a dealership setting (RV, Automotive, or Powersports) or in an industrial/shop environment is a plus but not required
• Professional and detail-oriented
• Dependable, team player with a strong customer focus
• Applicants must include a resume and three references (with a maximum of one family member)
• All applicants are subject to a background check and drug testing

Responsibilities of the Service Writer/Advisor:

• Oversee and lead various service support tasks
• Manage the calendar and scheduling of work orders to ensure efficient use of technicians’ time
• Provide customers with updates on repair timelines
• Schedule service appointments via phone and in person for our campers
• Coordinate with RV technicians to ensure timely work completion
• Work with parts dealers and manufacturers to order and obtain parts for warranty and service repairs
• Ensure quality of repairs and deliver excellent customer service to maintain and grow business and satisfaction
• Upsell services, sell maintenance appointments, and meet sales targets

Note: This is a busy department with limited formal training. You should be able to learn quickly, ask questions, take notes, and adapt without extensive supervision. Please ensure you are comfortable with this environment before applying.
