Job summary

Pete’s RV Center is seeking an RV Lot Porter to support dealership operations by moving units, maintaining the lot, and assisting Sales and Service teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to drive RVs or willingness to learn.
• Experience with yard tractors, forklifts, or heavy equipment preferred.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Park, move, and guide RV units safely and efficiently.
• Operate yard tractor, forklift, or other equipment as needed.
• Assist with unit staging for sales, service, and delivery.
• Maintain lot cleanliness (washing units, sweeping, trash removal, etc.).
• Ensure units are properly secured (slides, jacks, awnings, etc.).
• Support Service and Sales departments with unit movement and setup.
• Perform basic inspections and identify visible issues.
• Transport units locally as needed.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to climb in and around RV units.
