Job summary

Campers Inn RV in Naperville, IL is seeking a Lot Porter/Forklift Driver to manage RVs on the lot, drive and tow units, and operate the forklift where applicable. The role emphasizes keeping lots neat, safe, and accessible for customers and service teams.

You will inspect entry doors, assist with inspections, fuel vehicles when needed, and help maintain showroom readiness while following dealership standards and safety guidelines. Prior forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience in RV or automotive dealership environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport RVs to and from service bays, stores, gas stations, repair facilities, and locations.
• Keeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving RVs as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Make a daily inspection of showroom and service entrance doors and wash as necessary.
• Keep units in a “sale-ready” condition.
• Maintain dealership premises as directed by Supervisor/Manager.
• Assist with pre-delivery inspections.
• Fill vehicles with gas.
