Job summary

National General is seeking an RV/Specialty Appraiser to support field operations across the Sacramento, CA Territory, including Sacramento, San Jose, Santa Rosa, Modesto and San Francisco. In this role, you will assess and estimate damages on RVs, motorcycles, trailers, and commercial vehicles, helping ensure accurate and timely claim resolution.

Qualifications

• Strong specialty vehicle estimating experience.
• Field work experience with on-site assessments.
• Ability to deliver fair and thorough evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Applies mastered content in interpretations of all policy types written by the company and assists leadership in formal and ad hoc training
• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files
• Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
• Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers
• Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities
