Job summary

Ski's Truck & RV Sales in Rockville, MD is seeking a Carpentry/Maintenance Technician to join our service team. Perform light carpentry repairs and maintenance on campers, cabinets, flooring and trim while upholding safety and quality.

You must be organized with strong problem-solving and repair skills, plus attention to detail and a customer-focused approach. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift heavy objects are required; competitive pay with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous carpentry or maintenance experience in RV/auto/marine industries or similar.
• Knowledge of RV systems and components is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Superior math skills.
• Job may require heavy lifting and/or ladders and other tools/equipment.
• Requires valid driver's license and good attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Utilize hardware and electrical tools to perform light repairs and maintenance on campers (carpentry, cabinet work, blinds, flooring/trim).
• Troubleshoot issues and report major repairs.
• Fill nail heads, crevices and gaps as needed.
• Document/photograph repairs for warranty claims and complete warranty forms.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; help with shop upkeep and tool maintenance.
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns.
