Job summary

Swarms is seeking a Rust Team Lead to spearhead the swarms-rs framework, directing development, releases, and technical direction. You will cultivate a world-class Rust engineering team and own the roadmap, ensuring feature parity with the Python framework and cloud/research initiatives.

You will mentor engineers, review contributions, and drive open-source excellence while growing the team to build the fastest agent runtime in the ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Rust skills and shipped production Rust systems.
• Led or managed an engineering team or mentored engineers as a senior contributor.
• Maintained or contributed heavily to open-source projects.
• Understands multi-agent systems, concurrency, and high-performance runtimes.
• Wants to own a framework end to end and build the team around it.
• Has contributed 3 PRs or opened 3 new issues on the swarms GitHub.
