Job summary

Parry Labs, LLC is seeking a Rust software engineer to build and test distributed mission-system software under guidance from senior engineers. You will develop defined components, investigate defects, and learn systems programming through code reviews and integration work.

The target start is November 2026. Candidates should have a CS degree or equivalent, hands-on Rust experience, and familiarity with Cargo, Git, and Linux development tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field, or equivalent training and practical experience.
• Hands-on programming experience via coursework, internships, or projects; prior full-time engineering experience not required.
• Knowledge of Rust ownership/borrowing, Cargo build/test, and basic types.

Responsibilities

• Implement defined Rust components and fixes from requirements with guidance from senior engineers.
• Write unit and integration tests; ensure correct behavior and error handling.
• Debug issues using logs and tests; document steps to reproduce defects.
• Build interfaces, message handling and telemetry features per team designs.
