Responsibilities

You’ll take ownership of complex engineering challenges by architecting new mission‑focused capabilities that improve performance, resilience, and operational speed. Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with software engineering using Rust
• Experience designing the architecture and containerized services with Kubernetes
• Experience with autoscaling strategies such as HPA or VPA, cluster autoscalers, and designing systems that scale horizontally within seconds
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• Experience with Python or C++
• Ability to effectively communicate, work independently and collaboratively on a cross‑functional team, and demonstrate initiative to complete complex tasks to achieve program goals in a fast‑paced environment
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice to Have

• Experience with code quality and static analysis tools, such as SonarQube, Clippy, cargo‑deny, or cargo‑audit
• Experience with secure coding practices and vulnerability remediation
• Knowledge of SysML, DoDAF, and UAF
• Ability to display a personal or professional GitHub profile demonstrating Rust projects
• TS/SCI clearance
• Master’s degree

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $86,800 – $198,000 annualized USD. The posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
