Tempo is seeking a Rust-focused systems engineer to help develop the low-level infrastructure for a scalable blockchain platform. You will design, implement, and ship complex features with a focus on performance and seamless integration with the Ethereum stack.

Qualifications

• Significant experience building scalable, distributed systems in Rust.
• Deep familiarity with the Ethereum ecosystem, particularly the EVM and Execution Layer, as well as reth and consensus mechanisms; hands-on experience working across the entire Ethereum stack is ideal.
• Self-motivated and independent, and excited by ambiguity and opportunities to develop concrete solutions to nebulous problems.
• Collaborative and an exceptional communicator.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship complex features, indexing on performance and benchmarking.
• Own development throughout the entire lifecycle, with a focus on deep collaboration, quick iteration cycles and incorporating stakeholder feedback.
