Synthires is seeking a Software Engineer (Open Source Contributor) for a remote worldwide contractor role. You will craft coding challenges, build reproducible reinforcement learning environments, and create verifiers for correct solutions, using languages like Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.

Responsibilities include designing tasks, reviewing code, and contributing samples and insights while maintaining high-quality documentation.

Formación

• Strong software engineering experience in at least one relevant language, such as Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.
• Experience building scalable services and APIs.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and core computer science concepts.
• Proficiency in debugging, automated testing, and performance optimization.
• Experience with code review, bug fixing, and feature implementation.
• Clear technical communication and problem-solving skills.
• An open-source contribution history and a profile showcasing your work, preferably on GitHub, or willingness to complete a HackerRank assessment.

About the Opportunity

We're seeking experienced software engineers and open-source contributors to create realistic coding challenges that help train next-generation AI systems. You'll develop reproducible reinforcement learning environments that test AI models on bug fixing, feature implementation, code refactoring, and performance optimization. No prior AI experience is required.
