Job summary

BlackRock is seeking a senior AI Platform Engineer to join the AI Platform Engineering team within the Aladdin division. You will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure AI infrastructure that enables advanced ML and data science capabilities across the firm.

Responsibilities include managing Kubernetes clusters, creating cloud-abstracted infrastructure across AWS/GCP/Azure, and building automated CI/CD pipelines for model training and deployment with enterprise security in mind.

Qualifications

• BS./MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in software/platform engineering.
• Experience designing large-scale cloud-native systems.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Programming in Rust, C++, Python; CI/CD; infrastructure as code; distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a scalable AI platform for investing tech ecosystem.

• Create platform abstractions for cloud-native infra across AWS, GCP, Azure.

Qualifications

Expertise in Kubernetes, containerization technologies, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is essential. Proficiency in programming languages like Rust, C++, and Python, along with experience in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and distributed systems, is required. Additionally, a solid understanding of networking, security, and data science tools will be advantageous. Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to thrive in an agile, multi-office environment are also important.
