Russian-Speaking Quality Control Supervisor (Supplements)

We are hiring a Russian-Speaking Quality Control Supervisor for a rapidly growing health and wellness company specializing in high-quality supplements for humans and pets. The role is based in Northridge, CA, and involves overseeing quality assurance processes in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) specific to the supplements industry.
  • Create and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sourcing, formulation, manufacturing, and testing.
  • Conduct audits of contract manufacturers and suppliers to ensure compliance with GMP, FDA regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with production teams to incorporate quality protocols early in product development.
  • Oversee testing of raw materials, formulations, and finished products for safety and efficacy.
  • Implement incoming inspection protocols for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints.
  • Stay updated on global regulatory standards (FDA, EU, NSF, USP) and ensure product compliance.
  • Support documentation for regulatory submissions, including COA, SDS, and PIF.
  • Train and mentor teams on quality standards and best practices.
  • Lead root cause analysis and CAPA initiatives to mitigate risks.
  • Perform Acceptance Quality Limits (AQL) inspections on incoming shipments.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of Quality Control experience, preferably in supplements, nutraceuticals, or pharma.
  • Strong understanding of supplement formulations, ingredient specs, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with QMS software and testing methods (potency, microbial, stability).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field (preferred).
  • Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 111, NSF, USP standards is a plus.
