Institute on Aging in San Jose, CA seeks a Russian-speaking Home Care Aide to support older adults in their homes. Part-time schedule, flexible shifts, and compassionate care are emphasized.

You will assist with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship, while following care plans and reporting changes to supervisors. Applicants must have caregiving experience, pass Live Scan background, TB test, and health screening.

Formación

• Language: Russian-speaking preferred.
• Experience (Required): Previous caregiving or home care aide experience is required.
• Reliability: Ability to manage time well, follow care plans, and show up consistently for scheduled shifts.
• Requirements: Must pass background clearance (Live Scan), TB test, and health screening.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care and support with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and families.
• Help clients remain safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible in their homes.
• Communicate with supervisors about client needs and changes in condition.
• Participate in training and follow all safety, health, and compliance requirements.
