Job summary

Leidos Inc. seeks a Russian Linguist (HLT/Technical Support) to combine linguistic expertise with technical aptitude in support of national security objectives. Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is preferred; sponsorship may be available for clearance upgrades.

You will translate, analyze, and manage data, using ML/LLMs and AI tools to enhance workflows, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights with precision.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Russian language with a minimum of 2+ ILR or equivalent.
• Experience or demonstrated ability in translation, analysis, or language-related work.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to work across data management tools and systems.
• Familiarity with IT concepts and data handling practices.

Overview

Russian Linguist (HLT/Technical Support). Leidos is seeking a Human Language Technology specialist with Russian language proficiency to support mission-focused efforts. The role combines linguistic expertise with technical aptitude to support national security objectives.

An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is preferred; however, candidates with an existing security clearance may be eligible for sponsorship to obtain the required clearance upgrade.

Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

What You Bring

• An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is preferred; however, candidates with an existing security clearance may be eligible for sponsorship to obtain the required clearance upgrade.
• Bachelor's degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with 6–10 years of related experience. (Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
• Candidates must have experience in the Intelligence Community and Operations.
• Must successfully complete a Leidos-administered language proficiency test or equivalent.
• HLT experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic online research.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and target languages.
