Job summary

Acclaim Technical Services, Reston, VA, seeks a Russian Linguist with active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph. You will support a government agency with editing, quality control, translation, transcription and interpretation in English and Russian.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree (Master's or PhD preferred) and have at least three years of professional translator or interpreter experience, including ILR level 4-5 in Russian.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree desired. PhD degree desired.
• Three years minimum of work as a professional translator or interpreter
• Editing of written products
• Quality Control
• Summarizing/Gisting while drawing upon linguistic or cultural expertise.
• Translation into English and source language(s)

• Must pass customer testing ILR Level 4-5 in Russian

The hourly pay rate for this position will range from $65.58 - $105.65.
