Job summary

iCOUNTER is seeking a Cyber Threat Researcher focused on Russian-language cybercriminal platforms. The role involves identifying, monitoring, and analyzing threats, translating content, and delivering actionable intelligence reports for internal and customer use.

Responsibilities include producing IOCs and executive summaries, collaborating across Threat Intelligence, Engineering, Product, Security Operations, and Customer Success teams to enhance detection capabilities and inform product

Qualifications

• Proficient Russian language, written and spoken, with translation/analysis experience.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity threats, TTPs, and threat actor profiles.
• Excellent research, collection, analysis, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze intelligence from HUMINT, TECHINT, OSINT and internal sources to produce actionable cyber threat intelligence.
• Translate and interpret technical content, threat actor communications, malware docs, and discussions into accurate reports.
• Research adversary TTPs, malware, infrastructure, and campaigns to support detection and intelligence initiatives.
• Produce timely intelligence reports, threat assessments, IOCs, and executive summaries for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Threat Intelligence, Engineering, Product, Security Operations, and Customer Success teams to improve detection capabilities.
• Stay informed on evolving cyber threats and geopolitical developments relevant to customers and products.
