• Good customer service and basic math skills

Responsibilities

• Sorts mail in delivery sequence for the assigned route
• Delivers mail to customers along a prescribed route by a vehicle
• Loads mail in vehicle and collects monies/receipts for accountable mail
• Sells stamps, money orders, and provides routine postal information
• Maintains records, prepares daily trip reports, and handles change of address information
• Ensures mail security and handles special surveys when required
