Job summary

Dartmouth Health Keene is seeking a psychiatrist to serve as the primary consultation liaison for the Keene medical center, providing psychiatric evaluations in the emergency department and inpatient units.

The role includes outpatient medication management in a collaborative care model, supervision of APNs and social workers, and potential teaching with residents, fellows, or medical students, plus participation in quality improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical degree (MD or DO).
• Post graduate training in residency program.
• Current New Hampshire Medical License.
• Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification (to be obtained within 5 years).
• Active hospital staff membership.

Responsibilities

• Function as the primary consultation liaison for Dartmouth Health Keene.
• Complete consultative assessments in the ED and inpatient units.
• Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management in a collaborative care model.
• Supervise psychiatric APNs and social work colleagues.
• Opportunities to teach in the residency/fellowship programs and with medical students.
• Engage in academic and quality improvement projects.
