Job summary

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene / Cheshire Medical Center seeks a Medical Director to lead and expand Psychiatric Services in Keene, NH. You will work with the Chief Medical Officer and the Department of Psychiatry to build services, oversee clinical operations, supervise staff, and recruit talent.

The role includes teaching opportunities in residency programs, potential academic appointments, and engagement with community treatment programs to advance population health.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification or eligibility within 5 years
• Experience leading psychiatric services or programs preferred
• Current state medical license or eligibility to obtain one in NH

Responsibilities

• Lead and expand Psychiatric Services across Keene, Cheshire Medical Center and Dartmouth Health system
• Provide direct clinical care across outpatient, ED, and inpatient psychiatry as needed
• Supervise psychiatrists and APPs, recruit faculty and staff, and drive quality improvement initiatives

Education

Advanced clinical degree (MD or DO)

Post graduate training in residency program
